My name is Stephanie Geraghty and I'm proud to serve as Military Spouse Magazine's 2012 Marine Corps Spouse of the Year!  My platform and passion revolves around Stroller Warriors™ Running Club.  I established our first chapter at Camp Lejeune in January 2010. Since then, we’ve grown by the hundreds and have initiated new chapters worldwide.  My goal is to continue to spread this gift to military installations and to help our military families live happier, healthier lives through fitness, friendship, leadership, goal-setting, networking, fundraising, and community service.

We host workouts at playgrounds and run on asphalt trails, which allows us to get in a SAFE workout. This also makes it possible for older children to ride their bikes. Afterwards, the kids enjoy a playgroup at the park while we finish our workout. Standard meeting times are weekday mornings. Our running workouts are usually around 40 minutes followed with some core circuit training/abs and play time.  All workouts and events are organized and communicated through our Facebook pages.

This is a military-focused club. Our chapters are only located at military installations and are led exclusively by active-duty military spouses.  All members that join must have goals of running. However, we also want to reassure you that this group does not demand a certain running pace or standard. We provide the workout plans and simply ask that you do your best. There is no need to be nervous.  We promote a positive and comfortable environment for spouses of all ability levels to run together, beginner or marathoner.  Children and strollers are not required.

As members, we all need to be responsible for knowing our own ability and limitations. There is always the possibility that you could incur an injury during a workout or Stroller Warrior event. If an injury were to occur, Stroller Warrior and all those associated are NOT LIABLE for any claims of injuries and/or damages.  Your acceptance of membership to this group through the official Stroller Warriors Facebook page counts as your acknowledgement of the Stroller Warriors™ Personal Responsibility Clause. If you do not agree with this clause or choose not to accept this responsibility you must acknowledge that by officially removing yourself from the Facebook group.

To become a member of a local chapter, search for "Stroller Warriors" on Facebook and request to join. We accept civilian membership on a case-to-case basis. Stroller Warriors is open to all mlitary spouses, male and female. We do not permit business advertisements on our chapter pages.
