Q&A
Below, we’ve listed the top questions we get about the program!
PLEASE READ ALL THE QUESTIONS thoroughly to find your answer before presenting a question to the program admin.
1.) HOW DO I LOG MY MILES?
You must log your miles using our mileage tracker. You may select one of three options to track your miles:
(1) Printable PDF version (to record in print)
(2) Digital Word version (to record online)
(3) Digital Excel version (to automatically sum your miles online)
All three files are available for download at this link:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mw5PbXmtRj-HY1uJJcKfYkRDnz0iSFmr?usp=sharing
2.) DO MILES WALKED COUNT?
This program is designed to track running miles only. Track the miles you dedicate to running and not your total daily mileage. Miles completed using an interval walk/run program like Galloway count as miles ran. Miles ran outside or on a treadmill qualify. Walking workouts, workouts in the pool, or on the elliptical are fantastic ways to cross train but do not count for this program. If you are doing an interval run/walk program like C25K, absolutely track the portions you ran! Just provide a best reasonable estimate. (We want your awesome miles C25Kers and they will add up fast!)
3.) WHEN SHOULD I SEND IN MY MILEAGE TRACKER?
You are considered a program finisher when you hit our first milestone of 100 miles!
Please submit your tracker each time you hit a program milestone, which is after every 100 miles: 100, 200, 300, 400, etc.
4.) WHO SHOULD I SEND MY MILEAGE TRACKER TO?
Email a copy of your mileage tracker to our global miles administrator Paige D at [email protected] (Subject line, "RTW Miles 2023" That email can include a file or a photo attachment of your tracker. Please allow 5 business days for Wall of Fame updates. If you are located at a SW chapter, you should check with your chapter page for the appropriate point of contact. If you submit your tracker through your chapter, please do not send it to our global Miles Admin also, because this creates a problem of duplicate submittals and mileage. If you move to another SW chapter mid-year, you should submit any new milestone achievements to your new chapter.
5.) I JUST JOINED MID-YEAR. CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Yes! You can start tracking the day you join! You can even back-date your miles before you joined if you have a record of your previous miles on a GPS watch, Runkeeper, etc. Just copy them over to our mileage tracker!
6.) I AM NO LONGER LOCATED AT A STROLLER WARRIORS CHAPTER. WHO SHOULD I SUBMIT MY MILES TO NOW?
Once you move away from a SW chapter, you are now a part of our awesome global program! Please submit your mileage tracker to our Global Miles Admin at [email protected]om and you will be added to our global Mileage Incentive Program Wall of Fame at www.strollerwarriors.com/miles.
7.) WHEN AND HOW CAN I ORDER SW MILEAGE INCENTIVE GEAR?
After you are added to the Wall of Fame by a Miles Admin, you have permission to order commemorative gear. New gear is typically added toward the end of the year.
8.) WHERE CAN I FIND PROGRAM UPDATES?
Be sure to "Like" our Global Page at www.facebook.com/StrollerWarriors to keep tabs on our total miles run worldwide. We also regularly post about chapter events and workouts and provide encouragement and helpful resources. This is a page you simply must follow!
