2018 brings a new year and new opportunities for growth and development. We, at Stroller Warriors, love to help you set goals and reach them through our mileage incentive program. Our program has changed over the years. It started out as Ran to Afghanistan where as a team we ran the mileage to Afghanistan (where many of our spouses were deployed) and then BACK because that’s just how awesome our team is! Then it changed to Run the World with Stroller Warriors where as a team we ran from chapter to chapter, all around the world! Along the way we got to learn a little bit about each chapter location.
This year we’re changing the program and adding in some fun new twists that we hope will encourage even more participation! The new face of our mileage incentive program is all thanks to the hard work of Wendy and Angela, our Mileage Incentive Program Coordinators. Thank you Wendy and Angela!
We’ll be playing RUNOPOLY!!
-We will be adding up our miles as a team to make our way around a fun, running-themed game board!
-You will track your running miles on a pre-designed sheet. We have 3 different options you can choose from (PDF, Excel, or Word). These can be accessed via your chapter’s FB page or via our website http://www.strollerwarriors.com/miles.html
-When you hit a milestone you will notify your chapter. You will be added to a Wall of Fame on your chapter wall and will gain exclusive rights to purchase gear that will showcase your accomplishment!
-The first milestone you’re trying to reach is 125 miles. If you complete three 3 mile runs a week, you can reach the first goal of 125 miles in 3.5 months. You can do it! After that mileage goals are 250, 500, 750, 1,000, etc.
Our mileage incentive program is not limited to Stroller Warriors! Encourage your friends and family members to join in too. If they don’t have access to a chapter page, they will be added to the Wall of Fame on our website.
Let’s get started Warriors! Print your sheets and hang them up somewhere you will see them regularly. I always put mine on the fridge. Start logging those miles. You’ll be surprised how quickly they add up!
